Peony

This piece was inspired by anticipation for spring. The soft pink peonies are painted in layers over the inside of the glass, and the bottle is filled with crushed peony petals and gold leaf suspended in resin. While the piece is pretty enough on its own, it is fully realized with light filtering through, shining off the gold and illuminating the petals within.
